Scott Delony – Video Portfolio For the last 20 years, creating videos has been a passion. From making terrible short films as a student, to directing multi-camera live events, filming in developing nations, producing award-winning commercials and creating long-form documentaries – I have loved every minute of it.Here is a small sample of some of my more recent work. Project: Anxious for Nothing Live Music VideoDescription: I organized a multi-cam video shoot of a local artist performing a song. Biggest post-production challenge was color-matching five different camera models from four manufacturers. Project: Butterflies for Social MediaDescription: While ACU’s campus was closed to students due to COVID and things were looking grim, I make a quick montage of macro footage of butterflies migrating through campus for our social media channels in hopes of bringing some beauty in a time of darkness. Project: Remember the Poor Info VideoDescription: I traveled to Cambodia to produce this video for a nonprofit, Remember the Poor, to use for fundraising. Project: Entrust Conference PromoDescription: I traveled to Bonita Springs, FL to produce this promo for an annual conference put on by The CEO Forum. This was my first major project doing photography and videography at the same time. Project: River & Blues Festival montageDescription: I love getting to shoot both photos and videos when the lighting gets creative. These are some sample clips I shot for the festival event planner. Project: Guidebook How-ToDescription: A short video showcasing some of my lighting and motion graphics work. The wall behind the host is lit purple, she is not being chroma keyed. Project: LiveBeyond in HaitiDescription: I traveled to Haiti to produce this video about two ACU alumni who live in Thomazeau and run a humanitarian organization called LiveBeyond. Project: P4X Foundation Halftime SpotDescription: I produced micro documentary about local nonprofit, The P4X Foundation, to air on ESPN in 2015. Project: Project 7 Billion Info VideoDescription: I produced this promo video for local nonprofit, Project 7 Billion, to use on their website and at conferences. Project: #lifeonthehill for Donor DinnerDescription: I produced this video for ACU’s annual President’s Circle Dinner to inform donors about one of our marketing initiatives that involved students filming their daily lives and submitting it to us to edit into a YouTube series. Project: RunwaySeven Fashion VignetteDescription: I produced many of these short, simple, cinematic-styled vignettes for the ad agency representing clothing store, RunwaySeven. They were utilized in various places across their social media and website. Project: ACU School of Information TechnologyDescription: This video represents a majority of the videos I make for ACU: Interview-driven with relevant b-roll to tell the story of a person or department. Project: Study Abroad OverviewDescription: In 2009 I traveled to Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, France, England, Spain and Germany to capture footage of ACU students studying abroad. This video is a montage of that footage coupled with the students’ own footage. Project: Leadership Summit for Donor DinnerDescription: I traveled to Buena Vista, Colorado to produce this video for ACU’s annual President’s Circle Dinner. This video informed major donors about a week-long intensive that business students are able to take. Project: Village of Hope Info VideoDescription: I traveled to Ghana, West Africa to produce this info video for the Village of Hope to use in their fundraising efforts. The Village of Hope is very dear to me because my grandfather helped to found it!
